About

We work through the software people actually buy, and say plainly which one to pick and why.

Choosing software has become absurd. Every category has forty options, every vendor claims to be the leader, and every comparison article you find is a list of feature bullets that could describe any of them.

So we write the other thing: a short, specific answer to a specific question, with the pricing that is actually charged, the limitation that actually bites, and a verdict that commits to a recommendation instead of hedging across all six options.

Scope

22 sections, 198 topic clusters. Everything from AI tooling and developer infrastructure to home services and telehealth. The common thread is not the industry, it is the question: which of these should I pick, and why.

How to read a guide here

Start at the verdict. If you agree with the framing, the sections above it explain why. If you do not, the comparison table has the raw material to reach your own conclusion.

I work at Chatbase, which builds AI customer support agents. That is a category this site covers, so guides in it are not independent and say as much at the top. The editorial standards page spells out what that means for how a guide gets written.
